Victor Obinna Nsofor scored his first goal for German Bundesliga 2 side, Duisburg, in Saturday’s 2-3 loss at Union Berlin.
Duisburg currently lies bottom of the 18-team league with two points from nine games, africanFootball.com reports.
The former Chievo Verona player made his second appearance for the team on Saturday and the goal was a testament to his quality.
He pounced on a pass in the 56th minute to bring the score line to 3-1.
Nsofor’s compatriot, Kingsley Onuegbu, a 67th minute substitute for Martin Dausch, scored Duisburg second goal in the 84th minute.
